Nastassiw (Ukrainian Настасів ; Russian Настасов / Nastassow , Polish Nastasów ) is a village in Rayon Ternopil the oblast Ternopil ( Ukraine ) with about 1800 inhabitants.
geography
The village is located about 25 km southwest of Ternopil on the Synjucha river . The area of the municipality is 5.32 km² (341 per km²).
On August 8, 2018, the village became the center of the newly established rural community of Nastasiv ( Настасівська сільська громада Nastasiwska silska hromada ). This includes the 2 villages Jossypiwka ( Йосипівка ) and Marjaniwka ( Мар'янівка ), until then the village formed the district council of the same name.
history
Nastasiv was founded in 1654.
economy
The municipality mainly specializes in the manufacture of agricultural products.
Transport and infrastructure
There is a bus connection to Ternopil and the surrounding villages.
In the village there is a school and a culture house (hall with 500 seats).
Attractions
Nastasiv is home to the Roman Catholic Church of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary ( Костел Непорочного Зачаття ПресвятоМ Діви Марії ).
