The Hnylyj Tikytsch ( Ukrainian Гнилий Тікич ; Russian Гнилой Тикич / Gniloi Tikitsch ) is the left headwaters of the Tikytsch , the right headwaters of the Synjucha , in the Kiev and Cherkassy oblasts of Ukraine .
The river flows through the Dnepr highlands and belongs to the catchment area of the Southern Bug . It is 157 km long and drains an area of 3150 km². It is mainly fed by the snowmelt . The course of the river occasionally dries up in summer.
