The Hochblanken is a peak in the Damüls Mountains of the Bregenz Forest Mountains in Vorarlberg and is located in the Damüls municipality . It is a steeply sloping bare rock and 2068 meters high. The Hochblanken is the highest peak in the Damüls circuit "Around the Walser settlement", to which the Ragazer Blanken also belongs.
Ascent
The original route runs over the Sünser Joch to the Oberdamülser Alpe, whereby the Sünser Spitze can be reached via a branch. It can be reached with the UGA Express chairlift. From the mountain station of the UGA-Express at 1820 m you gradually climb 248 meters in altitude to get to the summit. Sturdy shoes and walking sticks are an advantage. Surefootedness and a head for heights are required.
