The Hochplatte is a 911 m high mountain in the southern municipality of Bayerisch Gmain and in the district of the same name in the Berchtesgadener Land district .
A natural toboggan run with a length of 750 m runs alongside the plateau and ends at the parking lot of the hiking center.

It belongs to the Lattengebirge and is located on the foothills of the mountains towards Bayerisch Gmain . The mountain is enclosed on the right by the Wappach and on the left by the Weißbach .
Hiking trails
With the Bayerisch Gmain hiking center, the Hochplatte is the gateway to numerous hiking trails in the Lattengebirge.
At its foot is the maize circular path with a height of up to 650 m, which runs from the parking lot to the Weißbach and back again. About halfway down the lower path there is a path to the mountain cemetery near the B 20 .
The Hochplatte circular route runs from the parking lot to the summit. A viewing platform is located a little next to the circular path at an altitude of 800 m.
