The Wappach flows into the Saalach

The Wappach (also Wappbach ) is a small stream that rises in the Lattengebirge and flows into the Saalach from the right near the festival site near Bad Reichenhall .

The access to the hiking center with many hiking trails in the entire Lattengebirge begins along the stream at Bayerisch Gmain.

course

The Wappach rises in the Lattengebirge in the so-called Alpgarten , then flows to Bayerisch Gmain and finally runs alongside the Freilassing – Berchtesgaden railway to the festival site in Bad Reichenhall. The last part goes under the B 21 , where it flows into the Saalach from the right and finally east just before the barrages in Kirchberg .
