The Hochschlegel is a 1688 m above sea level. NHN high mountain in the Lattengebirge and thus part of the Berchtesgaden Alps in the Berchtesgadener Land district , Bavaria ( Germany ). It is one of the highest peaks of the Lattenberg massif. The Schlegelmuldenalm lies at the foot of the Hochschlegel . There used to be a ski run from the Hochschlegel to the Schlegelalm, there is still a chair lift, but this is no longer in operation.
The Hochschlegel can be reached via various routes: via the Alpgartensteig from Bayerisch Gmain , via the Karkopf , from Hallthurm via the Rotofensteig, the easiest way from the Predigtstuhl .
