University Professor of the Year
The title of University Teacher of the Year or "University Teacher of the Year" is an award from the German University Association (DHV). The award has been presented once a year since 2006 and is endowed with 10,000 euros.
The award is intended to honor university professors who “have promoted the public image of their profession in an outstanding manner through exceptional commitment”. Professors who belong to a German university under corporate law, as well as German professors abroad, can be nominated. The DHV Presidium decides on the award as a jury.
