St. Sebastian Court Chapel (Pötting)
The St. Sebastian court chapel is a court chapel in the Pötting district of the Upper Bavarian community of Taufkirchen (near Munich) in the Munich district . It is registered as an architectural monument in the Bavarian list of monuments.
description
The chapel is on the edge of the Pötting agricultural property on the road to Taufkirchen. It is oriented to the northwest . The building was erected in 1867.
The structure is about 5 meters long and about 3.50 meters wide. The rectangular building is finished with an apse and has a gable roof . In front of the chapel is an open portico with round arches closed by lattice , which rests on two massive pillars .
Inside the chapel has a barrel vault . In the cafeteria there is a neo-Gothic retable with a figure of Saint Sebastian , flanked by figures of Saints Leonhard and Florian .
