Hofkasten (Hilpoltstein)
The Hofkasten in Hilpoltstein , in the Middle Franconian district of Roth ( Bavaria ), was built in 1473. The former stately warehouse at Maria-Dorothea-Straße 8 is a protected architectural monument .

The mighty three-storey sandstone cuboid building with a half- hipped roof and reinforced pilaster strips on the gables is located on the area of Hilpoltstein Castle . It comes from the late Gothic period.
Todays use
The former Traidkasten now houses a guest house with tourist information, the district archive and the adult education center .
