Mosch Ben-Ari ( Hebrew מוש בן ארי; * September 26, 1970 in Afula ) is an Israeli singer and guitarist . In 2006 he released the single “Ma nischar li” (he: מה נשאר לי, “What remained to me” ) together with Tal Segev .

Life

Mosch Ben-Ari was born into a Jewish family from Yemen and Iraq . He started making music at the age of 16. He studied music from India , the Sahara , and Sinai . In 1995 he founded the musical ensemble Schewa (Eng .: seven ). He became known through the song Peace or Od jawo Schalom Alenu (he .: עוד יבוא שלום עלינו; German: Nevertheless becomes . ) In the first album Ha-Chatuna Ha-Schmemit (he .: החתונה השמימית; German: Wonderful wedding ) peace will come upon us ).

Sheva released four albums and gave dozens of concerts at major festivals and events. In 2001 Ben-Ari's first solo album Ad elai (he .: עד אלי, German: To me ) was released. In 2004 he released his second album Derech (he .: דרך; eng .: Der Weg ). This album quickly went gold. He became one of the most famous singer-songwriters and interpreters in Israel. In 2006 Ben-Ari's third album Massa U-Matan (he .: מסע ומתן; eng .: negotiations ) was released. All albums were produced by Lew Ha'olam (he .: לב העולם; Eng .: Heart of the World ; also Globalev World Music ) in Israel. Ben-Ari's music and performance is a mixture of rock , soul , reggae and world music .

Ben-Ari also works as a DJ .

He performed on Central Park 's Summerstage tour on June 29, 2008 .

He also works for the TV show The Voice of Israel .
