Stucco relief

The residential building at Hofmillerstraße 32 in the Obermenzing district of the Bavarian capital Munich was built in 1899/1900. The villa on Hofmillerstraße is a protected architectural monument .

The house was built by August Exter and Otto Numberger for Ciseleur Ferdinand Spott, who came from Schweinfurt . The painter Heinrich Fick , son-in-law of Ferdinand Spott , also moved in with the Spott family.

The house corresponds to the type frequently occurring in the Pasing II villa colony, with a side gable risalit . The window axes are highlighted with stucco fields .

Inside, the villa was carefully restored to its original condition by architect Thomas Greindl in 1988/89 in close cooperation with the State Office for Monument Preservation. Since all the original building plans were in the possession of the then owner family Müller and Greindl, who are also direct descendants of Ferdinand Spott, the plastered facade destroyed in the 1960s could be reconstructed in the Art Nouveau style in 1998/99.

Thus, the property is almost as it was when the building was completed in 1903.
