The high mountain is 159  m above sea level. NN in the so-called sub-main level . It belongs to the Heusenstamm district and is located in the forest between Heusenstamm and Neu-Isenburg .

The Hohe Berg is a former trachyte quarry, the output of which was used to erect many buildings in the surrounding cities and communities until the twentieth century. Today the area is used by the Hunters Association of St. Hubertus in Offenbach as a training and shooting range. There is a water tank on the east side of the mountain .

The Hohe Berg gave its name to a street that runs through Heusenstamm from east to west.
