Hohler Stein (Taunus)

The hollow stone is a rock made of quartzite in the Taunus , a natural monument and 479  m above sea level. NHN high. It is located near Niedernhausen- Oberseelbach in the Rheingau-Taunus district in Hesse and in the Rhine-Taunus Nature Park .

The Geo-Erlebnispfad , which begins in Oberjosbach , leads on initially wide paths over the Hohlen Stein. The path is signposted and provided with information boards; the walk takes about 1.5 hours. The Bembel-Weg, which connects all of the Niedernhausen districts, also leads over here; this is a 19-kilometer circular route that also leads past the Hohe Kanzel .
