Hōkū Christian Ho (born June 10, 1981 ) known as Hoku , is an American singer , songwriter and actress . She is the daughter of Hawaii's entertainer Donald Tai Loy Ho . Her most popular singles are Another Dumb Blonde , How Do I Feel and Perfect Day .

life and career

Hoku, whose name means "star" in Hawaiian , was born on the island of Oahu Hawaii as the daughter of Don Ho and his second wife Patricia Swallie Choy. From this marriage there were two other children: Kea and Kaimana Grace. At the time of her birth, her father was already 50 years old and had six children from her first marriage to Melvamay Kolokea Wong. Including Don Jr. and Dayna Ho Henry. She got her passion for music very early on, as she appeared on her father's show.

Hoku went to La Pietra , a school for girls in Honolulu, and later studied business administration at Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, California, USA.

The debut single Another Dumb Blonde is also the soundtrack for the film Snow Free . She later appeared on Nickelodeon with many other stars including Britney Spears , * NSYNC , Sean Combs and Aaron Carter .

In 2001, her song Perfect Day became the theme song for the movie Naturally Blonde .

She now lives in Orange County, California with husband Jeremy Clements.
