The Holcomb Glacier is a glacier on the Ruppert coast of the west Antarctic Marie-Byrd-Land . It flows north and joins the Southern Ocean 14 km south of Groves Island .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own surveys and aerial photographs by the United States Navy from 1959 to 1965. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1972 after Leroy G. Holcomb, ionospheric physicist at Byrd Station in 1971.
