The Holdfast Point is a headland at the Loubet coast of Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula . It marks the eastern limit of the entrance from Crystal Sound to Lallemand Fjord around 19 km southwest of Cape Rey .
It was mapped using aerial photographs of the Falkland Islands and Dependencies Aerial Survey Expedition from 1956 to 1957. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1959 because the ice masses flowing out of the Lallemand Fjord are held there for a long time.
