Holger Fromm

Holger Hermann Fromm (born November 1, 1958 in Bad Langensalza ) is a German discus thrower , javelin thrower , shot putter and athlete with a physical disability .

Life

Fromm is a Thuringian disabled athlete in athletics. He is the brother of Dieter Fromm . Holger Fromm has been active in athletics without interruption since 1966, he has been organized in disabled sports since 1983 and competed in state championships, German championships, as well as at sports festivals and meetings. In 2003 he was honored by the Thuringian Ministry of Social Affairs with 39 other disabled athletes for his success (nine-time German champion). Since 1991 he has won 37 gold medals in the throwing, jumping and running disciplines at the International German Championships for the disabled, for example in 2007 in Singen.

Fromm is a member and chairman of ISV Olympic Erfurt e. V. He also trains and looks after people with disabilities and the chronically ill .

He is married and lives in Erfurt in Thuringia.
