Holger Kiesé (* 1959 in Esens , East Friesland ) is a German Protestant deacon , church musician and songwriter .

Life

Holger Kiesé grew up in Esens. After high school and community service, he completed a degree in religious education at the Evangelical University of Applied Sciences in Hanover (EFH). In 1985 he became a deacon and church musician in Langenhagen - Engelbostel near Hanover . He worked as a lecturer at the Evangelische Fachhochschule Hannover (EFH). Since 2005 he has been a freelance music teacher, choir director and speaker for music-creative community practice and has his own music school. He leads the band project group holger kiesé and the gospel choir Back to Church . Kiesé is the composer of many children's songs, canons and new sacred songs . He is also the author of non-fiction and specialist books, various publications and CDs. He is a member of the lyricists and composers group TAKT . As a music consultant, Kiesé is regularly active in the church educational institutions in Loccum . a. at the New Year's Eve conferences of the Evangelical Academy Loccum , as well as since 2016 for the Diakonisches Werk Evangelical Churches in Lower Saxony / Department for day-care centers in the advanced training for educators.
