Holger Nohr

Holger Nohr (born July 17, 1961 in Hamburg ) is a German librarian. Since 1998 he has been professor for business informatics, in particular information and knowledge management, at the Stuttgart Media University . He studied at the University of Applied Sciences Hamburg in the Department of Library Science and is a graduate librarian (FH).

Life

Nohr has been teaching at the Stuttgart Media University since 1998 in the business informatics course (formerly information technology), which he headed as dean of studies until 2011. Since 2010 he has been the director of the local institute for creative industries. He is also the spokesman for the research focus Media Business Performance Management at the Institute for Applied Research at the university. He is co-editor of the scientific textbook series Information Systems & Services .

Before he was appointed to the university, he worked at MasterMedia GmbH and TÜV Nord , among others .

Research priorities

Nohr's main research areas are information management , knowledge management , customer relationship management (CRM) and customer management as well as business process management . Projects with industrial companies, especially on business informatics topics in the media industry .
