Holt Peak

Holt Peak is a 850  m high peak in the west Antarctic Ellsworthland . It rises at the northeast end of the Meyer Hills in the Heritage Range of the Ellsworth Mountains .

The United States Geological Survey mapped it using surveys of the Ellsworth Mountains and aerial photographs of the United States Navy in the years 1961 to 1966. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1966 after William C. Holt, who was part of the United States Antarctic Research Program 1961 worked as auroras researcher on the Ellsworth station .
