The Holzbach is a 2.6 km long orographically right tributary of the Erft in Kirspenich , North Rhine-Westphalia , Germany .

The Holzbach rises southwest of Kirspenich at an altitude of 279  m above sea level. NN . It flows primarily in north-westerly directions. Without flowing through localities, the stream reaches the south-eastern outskirts of Kirspenich, where the unnamed but 3.5 km longer tributary flows on the left. After flowing through Kirspenich, the Holzbach empties at 219  m above sea level. NN on the right in the Erft .

With a height difference of 60 m, the mean bed gradient between the source and the mouth is 23.1 ‰. The catchment area of around 4.8 km² is drained via the Erft and Rhine to the North Sea.
