The Holzbach is a 3.9 km long orographically left tributary of the Ahse in Welver , North Rhine-Westphalia , Germany .

geography

The source of the Holsbach is about 800 m northeast of the Welvern district of Klotingen at an altitude of 78  m above sea level. NN . It initially flows in a north-easterly direction to Nehlerheide . Here the course turns north. After flowing through the hamlet in the west, the Holzbach flows about 800 m southeast of Nateln at 68  m above sea level. NN on the left side in the Ahse .

The Holzbach overcomes a height difference of 10 m on its 3.9 km long path, which corresponds to a mean bed gradient of 2.6 ‰. It drains its catchment area via Ahse, Lippe and Rhine to the North Sea .
