Holzen is a district of the Upper Bavarian community of Aßling in the district of Ebersberg .

The place is southeast of the core town Aßling. The St 2080 runs to the west and the St 2079 to the north . The Attel flows not far to the west and south of the village .

• The Catholic branch church of St. Laurentius is a simple, unplastered hall building with a retracted polygonal choir and a northern flank tower. The late Gothic choir and the basement of the tower date from the 15th century, while the nave and tower dome date from the beginning of the 18th century.

The associated cemetery wall made of unplastered quarry stone was probably built in the 18th century.
