Hong Hyun-mok ( Korean 홍현목 ; born April 27, 1986 in Seoul ) is a South Korean ice hockey player who has been under contract with Anyang Halla in the Asia League Ice Hockey since 2007 .

Career

Hong Hyun-mok began his career as a hockey player in the Yonsei University team , for which he was active from 2006 to 2008. The defender then signed with Anyang Halla from the Asia League Ice Hockey , but was still without a job in the 2008/09 season before he became the Asia League champion for the first time with his team in the 2009/10 season, his rookie year in professional ice hockey . The national player contributed three goals and five assists in a total of 45 games to this success. In the 2010/11 season, which ended prematurely due to the Tōhoku earthquake , he and his team again won the championship title of the Asia League Ice Hockey.

International

Hong Hyun-mok took part in the 2007 C World Championship and the 2010 B World Championship for South Korea .
