Hong Kong Composers' Guild
The Hong Kong Composers 'Guild is the composers' association in Hong Kong .
history
The guild was founded in Hong Kong in 1983 and is the successor to the Hong Kong section of the Asian Composers' League founded in 1973. It is a non-profit organization and registered as a limited company . She organizes concerts , publishes sheet music and produces CD recordings. This is how the World Music Days (1988 and 2002) became and since 1992 the Musicarama has been organized . It also supports young composers and organizes music competitions . There are cooperations with local schools and the community. The intellectual exchange between orchestras, musicians and international music organizations is promoted. The Hong Kong Composers' Guild is committed to promoting new music . It is a member of the Asian Composers League (ACL) and at the same time the national section of the International Society for New Music (ISCM). She is also in close contact with Radio Television Hong Kong and sends a representative to the Tribune internationale des compositeurs of UNESCO in Paris.
