The Hongshan District ( Chinese  红山区 , Pinyin Hóngshān Qū ; Mongolian ᠬᠦᠩ ᠱᠠᠨ ᠲᠣᠭᠣᠷᠢᠭ Küŋ šan toɣoriɣ ) is a municipality in the prefecture -level city of Chifeng (Mongol. Ulanhad ) in the northeast of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China . It has an area of ​​170 km² and has a population of 300,000.
