The Harqin banner ( Chinese 喀喇沁旗 , Pinyin Kālāqìn Qí ; Mongolian :ᠬᠠᠷᠠᠴᠢᠨ ᠬᠣᠰᠢᠭᠤ Qaračin qosiɣu ) is a banner of the prefecture -level city of Chifeng (Mongol. Ulanhad ) in the northeast of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China . It has an area of 3,071 km² and has 370,000 inhabitants. Its main town is Jinshan (锦山镇).
