Ongniud banner
The Ongniud banner ( Chinese 翁牛特旗 , Pinyin Wēngniútè Qí ; Mongolian ᠣᠩᠨᠢᠭᠤᠳ ᠬᠣᠰᠢᠭᠤ Oŋniɣud qosiɣu ) is a banner of the prefecture -level city of Chifeng (Mongol. Ulanhad ) in the northeast of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China . It has an area of 11,882 km² and has 470,000 inhabitants. Its main place is the large community of Wudan (乌丹 镇).
