Hori III. was the viceroy of Cush under Ramses III. until Ramses V.

He was the successor of his father Hori II (son of Kama), who had held the office since the sixth year of Siptah . The term of office of Hori III. is uncertain, he probably served in the middle or end of the reign of Ramses III., Ramses IV. and Ramses V. He was replaced under Ramses VI. by Siese .

His family comes from Bubastis , where Hori III. was buried after his death. A large stele from the city of Buhen , which was an administrative center of the viceroy, comes from him . He also found several graffiti inscriptions in the south temple there and rock inscriptions in Naga-Abidis . In addition, there were some graffiti lines in Aswan , which took the name of Hori III. together with that of Ramses III. call.
