Horst Hasse

Horst Hasse (born February 9, 1930 ) is a former German SED functionary. Among other things, he was a member of the Central Committee (ZK) of the Socialist Unity Party of Germany (SED).

Life

Hasse, a qualified farmer, was chairman of the agricultural production cooperative (LPG) " Wilhelm Florin " in Linum , Neuruppin district , and from 1972 head of the cooperative plant production department and from 1976 of the Fehrbellin agricultural and industrial association , which includes 2,500 cooperative farmers and workers owned by nine LPGs, three nationally owned goods and five inter-company facilities for plant and animal production.

Hasse joined the SED in 1955. From 1962 to 1964 he was a candidate for the SED district leadership in Potsdam . From 1966 to 1968 he was the successor candidate of the Agriculture Council of the GDR , from 1968 a member of the Council for Agriculture and Food Industry of the GDR. From June 1971 he was a candidate, from June 1975 to 1989 he was a member of the Central Committee of the SED.

In April 1987, Hasse was head of the SED delegation to the IVth Congress of the Communist Party of Bangladesh in Dhaka , where he gave a greeting address.
