Horst Nizze

Horst Nizze (born April 14, 1942 in Schwerin ) is a German pathologist . He was professor for pathology at the University of Rostock .

Life

After graduating from high school in Schwerin, Nizze was a section assistant at the Pathological Institute in Schwerin in 1960/61. He then studied medicine at the University of Rostock . In 1967 he was approved and awarded a Dr. med. PhD . After five years in Schwerin pathology, he moved to the Rostock Institute in 1973. There he completed his habilitation in 1976. He became a university lecturer (1979) and associate professor (1989). After the fall of the Wall (GDR) he was dean of studies for eight years . Since 1992 C 4 professor , from 1993 he was director of the institute. In 2010 he retired .
