Horst Schreitter-Schwarzenfeld
Horst Schreitter-Schwarzenfeld (born February 11, 1940 in Eger , † February 23, 2011 in Bad Griesbach im Rottal ) was a German journalist.
Life
Schreitter-Schwarzenfeld, from the old Bohemian aristocracy, fled with his family to Mainz at the end of the Second World War and passed the Abitur examination there. He studied history and Romance languages in Munich, Tübingen and Mainz. After an internship at the Mainzer Allgemeine Zeitung , he moved to Frankfurter Rundschau (FR) in 1970 . He became their political correspondent in London and Washington. From 1982 he worked for the FR in what was then the federal capital of Bonn . "Its particular strength was the feature , the light nib applied in a relatively free style."
In 1997 he left the service of the FR.
