Horst von Luttitz

Horst August Alexander Karl Freiherr von Luttitz (born April 1, 1859 in Muskau , † April 24, 1917 in Hoenlo , Netherlands ) was a Saxon major general .

Life

In the course of his military career in the Saxon Army, Luttitz was a lieutenant colonel from October 1, 1910 to December 1911, commander of the 3rd Hussar Regiment No. 20 . Then he was on the beginning of the First World War, the addition to 1915 commander of the 4th Cavalry Brigade no. 40 , he participated with in the fighting in Belgium and France.

In 1909/10 he lived in a villa in Grimma , Leipziger Strasse 65.

Luttitz married Louise Teding van Berkhout (* 1861) on July 31, 1884 in The Hague . The marriage resulted in the son Alexander (* 1885), the 1912 Frieda-Marie Countess Wilding von Königsbrück (* 1892).

He is the grandfather of Marie-Luise von Luttitz and Horst von Luttitz .
