Horstedt is a district of the municipality Thedinghausen in the integrated municipality Thedinghausen in the Lower Saxony district of Verden .

Horstedt is located in a bend in the Weser in the northern part of the Thedinghausen community, 5 km northwest of Thedinghausen. The town of Achim is on the other side of the Weser, 4 km away in a north-easterly direction.

The neighboring town is Dibbersen, 3 km to the south . Otherwise, the Weser represents a barrier to possible neighboring locations in the west, north and east.

history

On July 1, 1972 Horstedt was incorporated into the municipality of Thedinghausen. This moved to the district of Verden.
