The Horton Glacier is a glacier on the West Antarctic Adelaide Island . In the Princess Royal Range it flows east of Mount Barré and Mount Gaudry in a southeast direction to Ryder Bay .

The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1978 after Colin Philip Horton (* 1951), who worked as a construction worker for the British Antarctic Survey from 1976 to 1977 at the neighboring Rothera station .
