Hotel Garni

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A bed and breakfast hotel is a hotel that offers accommodation, breakfast , drinks and, at most, small dishes, while the classic restaurant operation is missing.

The term hotel garni comes from the French and literally means “hostel equipped with furniture”. Hotel garnis are mostly privately run and usually have fewer rooms than hotel chains .

Garnis hotels generally do not have a 24-hour reception , i.e. no night porter .
