Howard Davis (athlete)

Howard Davis (born April 27, 1967 ) is a former Jamaican sprinter who specialized in the 400-meter run .

He celebrated his greatest international success at the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul. There the Jamaican 4 x 400 meter relay won the silver medal behind the team of the United States in the line-up Bert Cameron , Howard Davis, Winthrop Graham and Devon Morris . In the 400-meter run, Davis reached the semi-finals in Seoul.

At the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona, ​​Davis started the relay again. However, this was eliminated in the preliminary round due to disqualification.

Howard Davis was also the 1989 Jamaican champion in the 400-meter run. He is 1.85 m tall and weighed 81 kg during his playing days.
