Howard James Hubbard (born October 31, 1938 in Troy , New York , USA ) is Bishop Emeritus of Albany .

Life

Howard James Hubbard received on 18 December 1963, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On February 1, 1977, Pope Paul VI appointed him . to the Bishop of Albany. The Archbishop of New York , Terence Cooke , ordained him episcopal on March 27 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the auxiliary bishop emeritus of Albany, Edward Joseph Maginn , and the bishop emeritus of Albany, Edwin Bernard Broderick .

On February 11, 2014, Pope Francis accepted Howard James Hubbard's resignation on grounds of age.
