Howard Schwartz (born September 13, 1919 in El Paso , Texas , † October 25, 1990 in Palm Springs , California ) was an American cameraman .

Life

Howard Schwartz began his career behind the camera as an assistant to Stanley Cortez in Orson Welles ' film The Splendor of the House of Amberson , before working independently as a cameraman in the Oscar-nominated short film Boy and the Eagle for the first time in 1949 . Then Schwartz was mainly responsible as a cameraman for television films such as Batman keeps the world in suspense , Judy Garland - years of apprenticeship as a Hollywood star and At the End of the Road .
