Huangling
Huangling (黄陵县; Pinyin : Huánglíng Xiàn ) is a district in the city of Yan'an in the north of the Chinese province of Shaanxi . It has an area of 2,288 km² and a population of 120,000. Its main town is the large community of Qiaoshan (桥 山镇).
The Yellow Emperor's Mausoleum (黄帝陵, Huangdi ling ) and the Wan'an Temple Grotto (万 安 禅院 石窟, Wan'an chanyuan shiku ) from the Song Dynasty , which have been on the list of monuments since 1961 and 2006 respectively People's Republic of China are located in Huangling County.
