Zichang
Zichang ( 子 长 县 , Zǐcháng Xiàn ) is a district of the prefecture-level city of Yan'an in the north of Shaanxi Province . It has an area of 2,405 km² and a population of 240,000. Its main town is the large community of Wayaobu (瓦窑堡 镇).
The Revolutionary Site of Wayaobao (Wayaobao geming jiuzhi 瓦窑堡 革命 旧址) (1935/36) and the Zhongshan Grottoes (Zhongshan shiku 钟山 石窟) from the time of the Northern Song Dynasty have been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic since 1988 China .
