Wuqi ( Chinese  吴起 县 , Pinyin Wúqǐ Xiàn ) is a district of the prefecture -level city of Yan'an in the north of Shaanxi Province . It has an area of ​​3,776 km² and a population of 130,000.

In the district are the Revolutionary Site of Wuqi (吴旗 革命 旧址, Wúqí gémìng jiùzhǐ ) from 1935 and the ruins of Tiebiancheng (铁 边城 遗址, Tiěbiānchéng yízhǐ ) from the time of the Northern Song Dynasty , which have been in operation since 2006 and 2013, respectively are on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China .
