Baota
The Baota District ( Chinese 宝塔区 , Pinyin Bǎotǎ Qū ) is a district of the prefecture -level city of Yan'an in northern Shaanxi Province . It has an area of 3,556 km² and has a population of 400,000 (2004). It is the seat of the city government.
In the municipality are the Ten Thousand Buddha Cave and the Tied Pagoda on Qingliangshan from the Song , Yuan and Ming Dynasties , which are on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China .
Administrative structure
At the community level, the municipality is made up of three street districts, eleven large municipalities and nine municipalities.
