Hubenstein is a district of the municipality of Taufkirchen in the district of Erding in Upper Bavaria .

The place is 6 km east of the main town Taufkirchen (Vils) on the B 388 to Velden .

history

Hubenstein Castle was first mentioned in a document in the 12th century. The aristocratic seat was transferred from the Fraunberger dynasty to the Preysing family and finally came to the court chamber president Johann Mandl in the 17th century . Since then, the closed Hofmark has been owned by the Mandls. The second class patrimonial court was finally dissolved in 1848, the castle was completely demolished between 1840/60. The Hubenstein community, formed in 1818 by the Bavarian community edict, was incorporated into Moosen (Vils) on October 1, 1925 , which in turn was incorporated into Taufkirchen on January 1, 1972.
