history

The company was in 1871 by the plumbers Karl Huber founded (1845-1920) as Flaschner- and installation operation. In addition to handicrafts and the shop, the production of metal buckets for lubricating grease was started. When Huber's son-in-law Karl Meister (1875–1935) joined the company, the industrial production of sheet metal packaging began. In 1919 the company employed around 30 people. At this point in time, Karl Meister had largely taken over the management. After the death of the founder, Meister redesigned the business into a purely industrial company. In 1929 around 70 people were employed. With the takeover of the sheet metal packaging factory Franz Schütt with around 50 employees in 1930, the company was greatly expanded; in 1935 the company had 160 employees. After Karl Meister's death in 1935, his sons Otto and Paul Meister took over management. The company was transformed into a general partnership.
