Hubert Łopotko (born March 6, 1987 ) is a Polish pool player .

Career

Hubert Łopotko began in 1995 with the billiards . At the European Youth Championships in 2000 he won a medal for the first time with third place in the 8-ball students. With the Polish school team he became European champion. In 2001 he was again third in the student 8-ball. In 2002 he became European student champion in 8-ball with a final victory against the German Dennis Jansen . At the European Schoolchildren’s European Championship in 2003 , he was runner -up in the final against Albin Ouschan in 14/1 and third in 8-ball. A year later he reached the junior final in 9-ball , but lost it to Bahram Lotfy . In 2005 he reached third place in 9-ball and the final in 14/1 endless, which he lost to his compatriot Adam Skoneczny .

He won his first medal at the Polish men's championship in 2004 when he reached the final of the 9-ball competition, where he lost to Robert Zachar . In 2005 he was runner-up in 14/1 endless. In March 2007 Łopotko managed for the first time to move into the finals of a Euro Tour tournament; In the quarterfinals of the Czech Open he was defeated by the German Thomas Engert . In December 2007 he became Polish champion in 9-ball with a 7-5 final win against Wojciech Trajdos . In the 14/1 endless competition, he took third place. In August Łopotko reached the round of 32 at the European Championship , in which he took part for the first time this year, in 14/1 and in 9-ball the round of 32. At the Costa del Sol Open 2008 , he made it to the quarter-finals. At the Polish championship in 2008 he won the bronze medal in 14/1 endless. At the Austria Open 2011 he reached the quarter-finals for the third time on the Euro Tour, where he was eliminated 5-9 against Mark Gray . In November 2011 he was third in the 10-ball at the Polish championship .
