Hubert Sele

Hubert Sele (born November 7, 1955 in Triesenberg ) is a Liechtenstein politician (VU). From 1999 to 2015 he was the mayor of Triesenberg and from 1993 to 2001 a member of the state parliament of the Principality of Liechtenstein .

biography

Sele grew up in Triesenberg. He completed an apprenticeship as a commercial clerk and was municipal secretary of Triesenberg for 25 years.

In October 1993 he was first elected to the state parliament for the Fatherland Union . In 1997 he was re-elected. During his time as a member of parliament, he was, among other things, head of the business audit committee for three years . In 1999 Sele was elected head of the Triesenberg community for the first time. In 2003, 2007 and 2011 he was re-elected as community leader. In 2015 he decided not to run again. His party colleague Christoph Beck became the new community leader .

Sele is married and has three children, a son and two daughters.
