Hubertus Lutterbach

Hubertus Lutterbach (born December 7, 1961 in Lippstadt ) is a German Roman Catholic theologian and historian .

Life

Lutterbach studied Catholic theology , history and art history at the Universities of Münster and Bonn . In 1991 he received his doctorate in theology in Münster and his habilitation in 1997. Lutterbach has been Professor of Christianity and Cultural History ( Historical Theology ) in the Department of Catholic Theology at the University of Duisburg-Essen since 2000 . In 2007 he received his doctorate in medieval history from the Technical University of Dresden .
