D2 or L2: Division 2, from 2002 Ligue 2
D3: third highest division

(b)For the official first and second division seasons only. The two-point rule for a victory was valid until 1973, from 1976 to 1988 and again from 1989 to 1994, there were three points per victory in 1988/89 and since 1994. From 1973 to 1975 teams each received one additional point for victories, in who they had scored at least 3 goals, 1975/76 for matches won by at least three goals difference.
(d) These "war championships" (1939/40 to 1944/45), which were held in two or three seasons apart from the 1943/44 season, are nowadays only considered unofficial competitions.
(e)The cup competition was held from 1940/41 to 1942/43 in three zones ( zone interdite, occupée, libre , "forbidden, occupied and unoccupied zone"); their winners then determined the state cup winner - which is still officially recognized today. Reims was in occupied France.
(f)In the 1943/44 season, only Équipes Fédérales ("national teams ") played in France's professional sector with state- paid contract players (see here ). Stade Reims' players were assigned to the ÉF Reims-Champagne .

Important people for the association

player

All French champions and cup winners

It includes all players who have played at least one league game for Reims in the championship seasons or have played in one of the two victorious cup final teams. Substitutions were only allowed in competitive games from 1958/59, the change of two players only from 1976.
The players are sorted according to the number of titles. The championship (M-) or cup-winning season (P-) and the number of league appearances / hits are noted behind the respective name. The eleven players who won the only international title - the Coupe Latine in 1953 - for the club are also given the C-53.
