The wasteland Hubertushöhe is a forester's house belonging to the municipality of Hafenlohr in the Lower Franconian district of Main-Spessart .
geography
Hubertushöhe is located in the Spessart in the Hafenlohrtal on the MSP 26 district road between the Breitfurt gatehouse and Windheim . The wasteland is on the southeast edge of the Fürstlich Löwensteinschen Park , where the Wachenbach flows into the Hafenlohr .
history
Hubertushöhe was named after Hubertus von Lüttich , the patron saint of hunters. It was built as a forest and gatehouse as part of the fence construction for the Löwenstein Wildlife Park .
